About
The Abbott Group is an event planning organization specializing in the logistical planning process and execution of team based golf tournaments. T.A.G. was founded in early 2021 with a goal to raise money for cancer research while promoting the game of golf. Hosting yearly competitions around the state of Massachusetts, The Abbott Group invites players of all ages, genders and skill levels to play in support of family, friends and loved ones who's battles with cancer, both past and present, will forever go unforgotten.
Note; The Abbott Group is not a non-profit organization, nor does it claim to be a non-profit organization. The Abbott Group is an event planning small business that donates the majority of its proceeds to cancer research.

Additional Payment Information
Players have the choice of paying individually or as a team. Payments can be made by cash, check or Venmo no later than Saturday, May 7th. All checks should be made payable to "The Abbott Group". All mail-in payments should be sent to 25 West st. Foxboro, MA 02035 (allow 1 week for delivery and mail accordingly). All Venmo payments should be sent to "@Foxboro-Open_Golf" (Link Below)

Team Selection
Players will have until April 30th to finalize and submit their team by email to "levi@theabbottgrp.com". Please include the following in your team submission: your team's name as well as each players first and last name, email address and shirt size (available sizes range from S - 3X).
Tournament Format
Teams will be competing in a classic scramble format and teeing off from the white tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels. This year, the tournament will be utilizing a shotgun starting system. In a shotgun start, all teams will begin at the same time but on different holes. For example, if your team is assigned the 14th hole to start on, you will finish on hole 13 before heading back to the club house to report your score. All teams will tee off at 7:00 am.
